Our Process
Together, we outline a path forward that’s realistic, strategic, and tailored to your specific needs. You’re part of the process. We keep communication open and decisions shared—no black boxes or surprises. Every project is different, and we stay flexible and responsive so the process fits your flow, not the other way around. When we deliver, it’s not just a finished product—it’s a solution you can trust, backed by real care and effort.
Client Intake Form
Begin by completing our Client Intake Form. It helps us understand your project, your goals, and the kind of support you need.
You’ll share:
your book’s genre and word count
your writing tools
your publishing goals
your ideal timeline
This gives us a clear picture of where you are in the process.
Submit Your Five-Page Sample
We ask for the first five pages of your manuscript, submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) and double‑spaced.
This sample allows us to:
assess your writing level
determine the amount of editing required
estimate the scope of work
prepare an accurate quote
If you’re not currently using Word, we’ll provide a short video showing how to move your manuscript into Word and turn on Track Changes.
Receive Your Editing Assessment + Quote
After reviewing your sample, we place your manuscript into one of three editing levels:
Light Edit
Standard Edit
Heavy Edit
You’ll receive:
a clear explanation of the level
a quote
an estimated timeline
next steps
There are no surprises. Everything is transparent.
Book Your Introductory Call
Once you accept the quote, we schedule a 60‑minute introductory call.
During this call, we:
discuss your book
clarify your goals
outline the publishing path
answer your questions
confirm timelines and expectations
Additional calls are available as needed.
Editing & Revision
We begin with a full edit of your manuscript based on the level assigned.
This may include:
line editing
clarity and flow improvements
proofreading
structural suggestions (if needed)
You’ll receive your manuscript with Track Changes and comments so you can see every adjustment clearly.
Interior Layout & Cover Design
Once the manuscript is final, we move into design.
This includes:
clean, readable interior layout
genre‑appropriate cover design
consistent typography and spacing
print‑ready files for Amazon KDP and IngramSpark
You’ll review and approve each stage.
Publishing Setup
We guide you through publishing on Amazon KDP
You can choose to:
complete the upload yourself using our step‑by‑step video, or
book additional support if you’d like us to walk through it with you
Either way, you’ll understand the process clearly.
Final Checks & Launch
Before your book goes live, we complete:
a final proof check
metadata review
pricing guidance
distribution setup
You’ll then be ready to publish your book with confidence.

Even after your book is published, we’re here if you need:
additional coaching
help with future editions
